REVEALED!!! What I told Neymar after the match - Dani Alves

The Ex-Barcelona defender Dani Alves has revealed what he told his former teammate Neymar after the match which sees Barcelona out of the Champions League.

control himself after the draw in their second leg match against Juventus at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.

The veteran right-back was a long-time colleague of the Barcelona striker (Neymar) both as a Club-mate and at the same time as his countryman.

Dani Alves gave his shoulders for Neymar to lean on while crying after the match. He (Alves) told beIN Sports that, “I told him (Neymar) that, that’s life – we had to face each other".

“I did not want to measure myself just on this, we have experienced these moments together and now we experience them apart so it is hard".

“We have to focus on our jobs, but the feeling is there.”

He was transferred free to Juventus last summer and has led the Italian leaders into the semi-finals of the Champions League. 

Dani Alves played for Barcelona for eight seasons starting from 2008 to 2016 and he makes close to 400 appearances for the Catalian Giant side, he won the Champions League on three occasions with Barcelona.

Juventus will be facing either Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid or Monaco after Friday’s draw.
