FIFA shortlisted Robin van Persie, Diego Costa, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and
James Rodriguez among others for the 2014 Puskas award.
The award is given to the player who scored the best goal in a calender year.
Van Persie is among the nominees due to his dived header against Spain at 2014 World-Cup also Rodriguez fantastic goal against Uruguay and Tim Cahill's super goal make them all to be among the list.
Among the list is Diego Costa whose scored an overhead kick for Atletico Madrid against Getafe, and Ibrahimovic’s stunning strike sees him in the list as well.
Others are amilo Sanvezzo, Pajtim Kasami, Marco Fabian, Steph Roche, C and Hisato Sato.
