I am in support of entertainers going into politics - Peter Okoye

P-Square‘s Peter Okoye has lent his voice to the growing trend of
entertainers joining politics . Peter on his Instagram page announced his support for entertainers who are venturing into politics.

“Nigeria’s development is dependent on its youths. It is only normal that we are part of that change that we so much desire. To all my fellow entertainers running for political offices, you have my loyal support. It is a development that is welcomed. #1Luv” he wrote

DailyPost recalls that in the last few months, there have been talks about Nigerian entertainers venturing into politics. From Desmond Elliot to Kate Henshaw, Julius Agwu, 9ice, Kenny Saint Brown, Tony Tetuila, Mama Gee and others who have officially declared their intention to run for political offices.
