Ibrahimovic not hoping for this year FIFA's Ballon d'Or

I am not hoping for this year's Ballon d'Or, the former
Barcelona sriker 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic' said. He said he is not vying to win this year's Ballon d’Or prize. He said not that he can't match player like Messi or Ronaldo for the award but the 2014 World Cup that he missed out has harmed his chance to win the award.

The PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic said “I think I have just played the best season of my career,” Ibrahimovic said. “That’s one of my objectives: to be better each year and always improve.

“I’ve been nominated, but it will be difficult because I didn’t play the World Cup. A lot of fantastic players shone at the World Cup, so they’ll have a certain advantage, but as long as I do what I can do, that I achieve results and I play at a high level, I can aim to win this award. That’s what I try to do anyway day after day, by working again and again.”

Ibrahimovic was among the FIFA's 23-man list of players that was shortlisted for this year FIFA's Ballon d'Or alongside with other players.
