FIFA threatened to ban Nigeria NFF

FIFA has threatened to ban Nigeria from the association of football until
she do her next congress which will come up by May next year. FIFA is world governing body that oversees association of football in each country around the world.

This happen as a result of the court verdict last week that ousted the new board of NFF led by Amaju Pinnick. The verdict was pursued by Chris Giwa who is using all what he has in becoming the head of football association in Nigeria.

The consequences of this decision is that, Nigeria would not be allowed to play the rest of her matches to contest for qualification in the proposed AFCON that likely to come up in Morroco next year. The AFCON competition may likely not come up due to the deadly virus called EBOLA.

Issa Hayatou who is the head of CAF claimed that he is the one that, pleaded unbehalf of Nigeria in order to allow the Super-Falcons of Nigeria to play their final match against Cameroon. He said FIFA almost cancel the Nigeria Super-falcons from playing against Cameroon on saturday in which he was the person that plead in order for them to play the match.

In order for NFF not to be ban, the court must withdrawn their decision to avoid FIFA's ban .
